Born and raised in the sacred lanes of Varanasi, Sagar Yadav grew up surrounded by the ghats, temples, and the eternal rhythm of the Ganges. This city is not just where he works — it is who he is.

With over 6 years as a hotel manager in Varanasi and more than 3 years in the travel and hospitality industry, Sagar brings a rare combination of professional excellence and deeply personal local knowledge to every journey he plans.

Fluent in both Hindi and English, he ensures that every traveller — whether a devout pilgrim from a small Indian town, a family on a spiritual holiday, or an international visitor discovering India for the first time — feels genuinely welcomed, cared for, and understood.

2015 – 2018

The Foundation — Hospitality Mastery

Sagar Yadav spent 6 years as a hotel manager in Varanasi, building an unmatched understanding of traveller needs, local culture, and the art of genuine hospitality in the sacred city of Kashi.

2018

Mahadev Tours is Born

Driven by a deep personal connection to Varanasi and a desire to share its spiritual magnificence with the world, Mahadev Tours & Travels was founded — beginning with guided walks and Ganga Aarti boat experiences.

2019 – 2020

Growing the Sacred Circuit

Tours expanded beyond Varanasi to include Sarnath, Prayagraj, Kedarnath, and Bodh Gaya — building a full spiritual circuit across North India. The first 500 happy travellers came in through word-of-mouth alone.

2021 – 2022

Digital Presence & TripAdvisor Recognition

Mahadev Tours launched its online presence and quickly earned outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor, JustDial, and Google. The fleet expanded to include cab bookings, bike rentals, and boat ride packages.
